I recently cleared out my loft space in order to have insulation fitted. I have been advised that before this is fitted the loft space needs to be ventilated.

The loft space covers approximately 100 square meters. Although the building itself is Victorian I believe a lot of work was done on the roof around 5 years ago. The roof is a pitched roof with slate tile.

It seems to be starting near one of the chimneys, so hopefully it's just the flashing, but would like an expert diagnosis please. Hi we are looking for a trustworthy roofer to come and quote on a 1900 brick semi detached house. There are several things that need doing, the main one being re-roofing the utility. The coping is loose on the main roof and flashing is missing from some of the chimneys. There are some slate repairs that need doing as well.
