We need a roofer for a new detached house in Haslemere, Surrey.

The roof is 54m2 in plan and hipped. Tiles are to be Sandtoft 20/20 interlocking or equivalent (colour to be advised). Rainwater goods are to be black upvc half round gutters with downpipes.

Roofer to price up materials and labour separately, to include:

Breathable membrane
Battens
Tiles (including hip and ridge tiles and hip irons etc)
Gutters, downpipes
All necessary fixings

The roof trusses and scaffolding will already be in place.

We have a small leak which is coming through the sitting room ceiling due to heavy rain. The roof is relatively new and we believe the rain is coming through a small section where a join is and has been sealed rather than covered by roofing tiles. Access can be obtained through the attic (which is empty) but the entrance is above a stairwell and needs a long ladder.

Basically I discovered a leak in the ceiling of my bathroom which appears to be coming from around the Stack pipe flashing, where it goes out through the roof. Or where the next house in the terrace is staggered by about 6foot to the rear along the roof edge flashing.

The leak is a little on on and off for the last couple of weeks so doesn't occur every time it rains. only a certain heaviness and direction. Its not a constant leak

Recently moved into our new home in Farnham. Surveyors report suggested that the verge mortar/cement bedding to the left hand flank wall and to the right hand verge of the main roof coverings have cracked and become dislodged. They need urgent replacing to prevent debris falling and potentially injuring someone. Will need scaffolding due to height of roof.
