We have a mid terrace house - 4 floors but on the top floor there is a parapet with access through the topfloor windows. There seems to be a leak from the little flat roof which forms the floor of the parapet into the thrid floor bedroom. Contactors came to sort it a year ago but the leak came back. There is damp to the front of the flat at first floor ceiling level. This might be related to failures in the stepped flashings between the raised section of the party wall and the slated roof of the house.
Scaffolding is up, so this can be inspected.
The fascia board on the front needs repair and painting.

With the rain this weekend another leak seems to have appeared close to the ridge next to the chimney. Again this could be related to flashings or re-pointing chimney. Would need to be inspected.

To remove cement and replace with 'plastic filling' and adhesive all the way down the valley and to apply the same material to fill in any holes in the valley to affected roof area to stop water leak causing damp patch just above right side of top storey window (approach from the outside).
