A supporting wall separating dining and front room in a victorian property was knocked though in the 70s to accommodate a glass sliding door. The door has now gone because it was dangerous and horrid. The space left behind is a hole approx 156cms W x 194cms H which will need to be blocked up to reinstate the two rooms as I hate the open plan layout. Both sides of the wall will need to be skimmed and left ready for painting. There will also be a little bit of wood work with regards to matching skirting to existing skirting in the dining room that was put in following damp proof works several years ago.

Plus either repairs to exisiting or a new frame will be needed for the dining room door.

I will need an itemised quote to include labour and materials.

This hole was not mentioned in the "full" structural survey that I had done 10 years ago possibly because it was covered by the door. I dont know whether building control is necessary for this work and would need to rely on the tradesman to advise me.

I would prefer local tradesmen if possible but would not exclude anyone as long as they have the necessary skills.

If the work cannot be completed before mid March then it would need to be postponed until after Easter.

I have a 1930's semi detached house with bay windows, above the living room bay window a crack has been growing for two years since the windows were replaced. I came home and found the wall not propped up during the process, though the window company maintain it's my wall not their fitting procedure) so I think the wall has sagged?
The brick work has moved under a pebbledash finish, the pebble dash will have to be removed I believe and the wall made good. It's only single layer up to the base of the bedroom bay window. Some support needs putting in. I need advice.

I believe that lead guttering at the back of the single storey outbuilding requires relining. However the only access to the guttering is by going over the roof. Therefore it is essential to look at the job, the surveyor will require ladder etc.

The length of the barn/guttering is approx. 4.5m. There is plastic guttering to front of barn that requires repairing/refixing and the same applies to guttering at the front of my terraced house which leaks when it rains.

As an addition there is a length of soil waste pipe at the back of my property that requires replacement. Therefore, I would also like these attending to at the same time please.
