Our flat is the first floor of a converted house in North Finchley. We bought it a little over a year ago and it is in some disrepair. We would like some general repair works done to the outside of the flat, we’re not sure if this would need scaffolding or could be done with ladders.

There would be some repairs to the guttering, the stone window ledges need either replacing or repairing, some wooden window sills also need replacing or repairing and some or all of the walls need painting (we have some damp patches on the inside of the kitchen walls and think this is the problem).

We would love to have a quotation for this to have the work done as soon as possible – weather permitting! We will be needing a whole new roof in a few years time, so there is potential for future work here too.

Just moved into a house in E17. There's a great loft extension, but for some reason the bannisters up to the loft have been boarded over to create a wall, and a doorway put in on the landing. I'm looking to get that doorway and all the boarding knocked out and made good, so it reverts to a simple landing / bannister arrangement.

Ideally I'd get this done as soon as possible as I've got a decorator starting to work on the house next week (29th April.)
