The soil pipe shown will need extending by 900.
Other pics show position of new basin (where the drill is standing) you will have to drill through a joist to get the feeds for the basing onto the pipes shown in the picture. The plastic elbows can be replaced with a plastic equal tee.
The other pic shows what will be the bath supply pipes, these will need cutting and routing through the joist and then extending by 600mm.

Also small copper pipe shown on wall will need fitting over the new waste, would also like a removable bung on end of waste (new basin side) so we can unblock pipe if any problems.

Job Description
I live in a 3 story town house and have problems with 2 out of my 3 toilets. (the ground floor has no issues!). Recently, when the toilets are flushed, they make a very loud racket until the water stops running into the tank. There is also an issue with the water pressure and the water can either trickle or gush out.
I need the work doing a.s.a.p (preferably before the weekend)
Large plumbing job
- Location: Lichfield
- Hired: Terma
- Trade: Plumbing
- Positive feedback on 20th Jul 11
Job Description
Hi, I need a plumber to work on a day rate in essentially a large new-build house in Lichfield. You should be able to set up central heating systems to the satisfaction of building control and either gas safe registered or able to get a mate / colleague to come out to verify the work and to provide necessary certificates. There's a fair bit of work needs doing. Ideally you'll let me know about you, how soon you're available, your rate per day and how long a working day is. Thanks. Rob
* Added 20th May, 2011 :
By the way the entire property's been gutted, most of it is completely new, and none of it is plasterboarded so it should be a relatively easy job with minimal (if any) crawling around in confined spaces. I also have tools on-site, ladders, steps, 2 mobile platforms etc. so all in all a nice job I should think.
Really most of the work for now will be first fix, with the 2nd fix coming in a few weeks.

Towel rail and TRV's
- Location: Swadlincote
- Hired: Jacksons Plumbing Services
- Trade: Plumbing
- Negative feedback on 5th Nov 10
Job Description
I would like a quote for the following work to be completed asap.
1) To replace an existing radiator with a towel rail / radiator. This will involve modyfing the heating pipes and fitting the radiator and valves.
The new towel rail has the same centres for the inlet and outlet as the old radiator, however the central heating pipes will need extending approx 1 inch to acomodate the extra depth of the towl rail.
2)Replace 5 of the existing radiator valves with TRV valves and lockshields .
3) Refill the heating system and add anti corrosion additive.
I will purchase the towel rail and TRV and lockshields and aditive. Tradesman to supply any odd bits of pipe.
The sytem is a 10mm microbore system gravity fed. Approx 12 years old.
Only qualified plumbers to quote.
* The following information was added Sunday, 7th December, 2008 :
Have decided we need 7 TRVs fitted, including the one fitted in the bathroom.
I am happy to remove the radiators (leaving the valves in place)if this helps to cut the cost.
