Recently had a new 1.5 kitchen sink fitted. Water draining through the waste makes loud noise, even when it is just a half-open tap running. Noise gets worse if draining e.g. water from a saucepan, worst when the dishwasher drains (dishwasher connected to the same waste). Sounds either air trapped or not enough air - but I am no expert.
