Large radiator value is leaking at the very top brass part. I turned the valve to ensure radiator was on full (by hand) and not it's started leaking, seemingly when heating is not on. (heat must make it expand and stop?)

I attempted to tighten with a spanner after seeing a DIY video online - but it doesn't seem to budge :(

Currently needs a towel and pan around the bottom to stop ruining my living room carpet...

I have noticed that whenever I shower the ceiling in my living room (bathroom is directly above it) develops a wet line after a short while. I have investigated the cause and I have narrowed it down to a leaking pipe connected to the mixer tap under the bathtub.

What is the approximate cost to repair or replace including labour and materials?

We are having vinyl flooring put down in the main bathroom and ensuite and have removed toilets and had some floorboards repaired. We are having the vinyl fitted tomorrow 29/06/12 in the afternoon and would like someone to refit the toilets asap. It would be ideal if we could ring someone as soon as vinyl is fitted and they came round to fit toilets back on and seal the base. - Thanks
