We are looking to get a radiator removed and replaced with a vertical one within the same area in our bedroom. The bedroom is located a floor above where the boiler is. We would need help sourcing the correct radiator for the size of the room. We have exposed wooden floor boards.

I have a Drayton MA1 Actuator, that appears to have gone pop.
(When the hot water is on and the CH is off, the radiators still come on)
So I am looking for quotes on the replacement of this part.

Job will involve:
Disconnecting and removing existing sink which is a standard sink built into worktop. This sink will also need to be disposed of.
Supplying and installing suitable taps into the new pine sink unit. The unit does not come with taps; I am happy to select these either from a supplier that you use or can show you what we're after online but these will ideally be traditional looking chrome mixer tap.
The taps will then need to be connected up; the sink will be in the same place as the old sink.
Owner/occupier so will be around the home.

5 No. new rads to be installed (already purchased). Existing rads have already been removed & floorboards will be lifted prior to start. New double rads are narrower than previous so pipework requires alteration. Chrome pipework required above floorboard height. A 6th rad requires repalcement of copper pipe with chrome.
Chrome pipe, TRVs & lockshields already purchased. Once complete, CH system to be primed & filled with inhibitor etc.

I currently rent a property in knowle in Bristol. The tenant has informed me that the boiler keeps making rattling noises when it is switched on. I am sure this is just a a simple thing but I was wondering if you were available to have a look to see what the problem is.

We have a damaged pipe that is causing lead fragments to get into our water supply. It seems to be our service pipe. I can see from your history that this is something you've done before. The service pipe is in an alcove which our fridge stands in and should be fairly easy to access. We have had advice from the water company about how the new plastic pipe could be fitted but are after a professional to install it. Hope you can help.

We have a leak from our hallway into our basement living room. Think it is coming from pipes leading to radiator, but unsure as the leak is coming from under floorboards which are held down either end by skirting and stairs and we haven't been able to lift them to look. Would like to find out where leak is originating and repair - will involve lifting floorboards. We have contacted our house insurance, but are unsure about the work that they want to arrange - we feel it might be better to get someone ourselves, so would welcome an honest quote about what work needs doing and how much it might cost.

We currently have three pipes (cold water, hot water and gas) that run along the internal wall in our kitchen between 5 and 10 inches from the floor.

We would like all three moved within 6 inches of the floor so that they run underneath our new kitchen floor units.

The important thing is that the work must be completed on Monday 25th March to fit in with our kitchen fitting schedule. On this day the kitchen will be empty of units and the plumber will have free access to the internal wall.

Is this a piece of work you could quote us on please?

We have just removed a radiator from our bedroom chimney breast. We have 2 pipes sticking out through the floorboards. We would like these pipes cut back and capped under our floor boards so we can re-install a victorian fireplace and hearth. We also have some raditors not working and would like a general evaluation of our boiler and plumbing system.
