Our house was built in 1935. We have been told it has a single layer of brick which has been pebbledashed to the outside.

The wall under the window is very cold and develops signs of damp in the winter months. Paint on the wall flecks off due to this. Possibility of needing damp proofing and replastering.

Plaster a stairway that has been taken back to brick. Job includes boarding out ceiling and skimming. Walls to be fully plastered without boarding. Also some small areas above doors. Stairway is not particularly big and might be a little awkward. Two people have quoted then cried off presumably to do large flat plasterboarded bedrooms. Hello,
I need work done on a house in Leamington Spa (old Georgian property) and would like to have the walls and ceiling downstairs and in most of the rooms reskimmed. The current walls are plastered and painted and in good condition .... but I am not happy with the finish (quite rough and lumpy in areas). I am looking for a nice clean finish that will go well with the renovation plans I have in mind for the property. I need the following walls and ceiling reskimmed after some electrical work has been completed including spot light installation in the ceiling in all rooms. Can you please provide quote for reskimming walls and ceiling in the following rooms.

Bedroom 1 - 14ft 6inch x 14ft 4inch
Bedroom 2 - 13ft 1inch x 10ft 4inch

We have a 3 bedroom property with poor interior walls. We have almost finished removing woodchip paper from the whole house. A fair amount of plaster has fallen away with the paper and some more patches of plaster are clearly not bonded to the wall. The house is about 100 years old.
