The job is to plaster/skim over artex ceilings in a 1970s 3 bedroom house in Battersea (just off lavender hill). Total ceiling area approx 80m2.

Ideally we would like to have people come to provide quote this weekend with a view to perform the work next week.

We are doing up a Semi Detached bungalow (with two rooms in the loft conversion). Ceilings in about 7 rooms in total and a hallway need to be plastered over, the ceilings are nearly all Artex type material. There is a 1m square area of water damage (old leak now fixed) in one part of the ceiling which needs repairing. In one room the chimney stack (about 1.5m wide by 2m tall) needs to be replastered. There is also an area of wall which needs a strip of plasterboard and plastering (about 20cm wide by 7m long). There is one small room about 2m by 2.5m which needs the ceiling plasterboarded and plastered. We have just had the house re wired and some walls have been chased and filled in roughly with plaster, so either to fix the plaster in these areas or a thin skim over several walls in the house. We are going to paint over the finished plaster (we are doing the painting ourselves).

We will be living in the house during the works, but have most things in boxes and the flooring is old and will be replaced soon. There are skirting boards at the base of most walls which we will be keeping. There is also cornicing at the top of most walls, again we are keeping this. We have a rough date to start work of the week beginning Monday 27th May 2013, but to be completed by the 7th June 2013.

We need to expose a beam by cutting a hole into the plaster and then cover it up again. Job would need to be done on a specific date as structural engineer has to be there when beam is exposed. He will say where to cut hole as he needs to see the beam. Then the hole needs to be covered that same day.
Please let me know cost of job and materials.

Part of back wall exterior around a window needs pebble dash rendering, to fit in with exiting decor. Area to be completed 7ft by 7ft including some pebble dash work to be completed to exterior wall sourrounding outer back door.
The exposed breeze block to put the pebble dash on is in good condition.

Hi,

I need a good price to skim over the walls in my flat. We have removed all the woodchip wallpaper that has been on there for the last 30 years and the walls themselves are clear and ready to be done. There are chips here and there consistent with hanging of pictures, nails etc, and some small sections of plaster have come away but these are far and few in between.

Work includes two double bedrooms, one living room and a small hallway.
Work ideally to start within the next couple of weeks.

My bedroom wall looks unsightly from water penetration due to a leaking guttering, mildew and peeling paint. There is also a crack that was runs around one of the windows.
Wall is approximately 15' x 8' with two windows.
