Walls may need full replastering around chimney breast but ideally wanting someone to remove existing artex from fireplace and plaster smooth.
Surrounding walls of chimney breast need touching up or replastering, unsure as to what option is best as wood was nailed in and we have removed it, so the walls have crumbled around the bottom.
Walls are not bad quality, the fireplace is the problem area.

Hi. I have a stud wall being built to divide a large room that requires plastering and which will need coving to match current. I also have some repairs to walls which have had flood damage in the past and finally, put up new coving in the hall (which I had to take down to pass electrical wires through). I need the wall under my bay window replastered. It has suffered from damp and the paint is peeling and some of the plaster has come away. I had a damp proof course done about 5 years ago, I have had it recently checked and was advised to have the existing plaster removed and new breathable plaster applied, as this area wasn't replastered when the DPC was done.
