I have been advised by our cavity-wall insulation installers that I need to make 4 10cm x 10cm holes in the wall of an upstairs bedroom, removing the plaster to expose the brickwork. This is because we have a porch underneath that wall which would prevent them from pumping in cavity wall insulation from the outside. After the insulation is added, I would like the holes plastered over again to make good. The insulation company have a timeslot available on 27th March, so it would be ideal if someone could come to make these holes before that, and plaster up soon afterwards.

I have one wall of my kitchen that has been adjusted over the years and so ended up being very unsightly when I moved in. I have attempted to rectify this wall by plastering some of it myself, but having looked at my progress so far, I realise I shouldn't have started! I have an unopened 5kg bag of plaster than can be used, but only DIY tools. There also isn't any running water at the property (yet), but I can provide plenty of water, given enough notice.

The wall itself measures 4m by 2.3m and has a 1m by 1.7m window in it.
