Hi Martin, myself and my partner are looking at buying a 2 bed terraced that us likely to need a full replastering of lounge, kitchen and 2 bedrooms. Some if it may just need skimming but particularly in the kitchen its likely to need completely redoing and/or plasterboarding. We're looking for people who might be interested in coming on a viewing with us to put together a quote.
We've had an offer accepted so are likely to be buying the house and aren't timewasters. We'd just like to have quotes in place ready for when we take possession as we have a 3 month window before we need to move in to get the messy work done.

Kitchen ceiling (plaster boarded) has been damaged in one corner by a leaking boiler. We're looking for a quote to repair the damage.

We had two wall lights and an old boiler control box removed from our house but this has left three holes in our walls that need plastering over.

These are all in the lounge. The two wall lights are small areas on the exterior house wall (20cm by 30cm).

The hole for the boiler control is on the side of the fireplace (the old boiler has now been removed) and is around 20cm by 30cm but there is a long crack where the wires were pulled out that extends about a metre down the wall and is about an inch wide.

Sadly due to serious illness I am left with a partially completed outside rendering job.
There is not an enormous amount of rendering , maybe 15-20 sq metres at the front and side of the house upto a height of maybe 4-5 feet.
This part has had the old rendering removed and the job done upto the scratch cover, so needs waterproof float cover etc and repair to one small area where the render has not taken too well ( in an easy area)
There is also a "beautifying" job ( sorry cant think of a better description) to the rear rendering which has been sucessfully repaired to a good standard but needs a covering so it is all is the same colour, maybe 10ft by 7. Any other "bits" that I am not aware of can also be quoted for.
My guess would be a days work at most ?!
No need for any scaffolding and all the old render etc has been legally disposed of.

Looking for quotes to remove artex from ceilings of 4 bed 80's build house. The house is occupied so it has to be done room by room to allow us to empty each room prior to it being done. We are the home owners. I understand it does not contain asbestos.

Upstairs is bumpy artex, not very high with no coving. Downstairs is more spiky with coving in two rooms.

The gas fire sized hole needs boarding and skimming to match the rest of chimney breast. It is a small job but is complicated by access to the house. The owner is our daughter. Looking for experienced plasterer to work on new build. The plasterboard has all been fitted to a high standard by builder (very level) with the exception of large vaulted ceiling. The work required is:

1. To fit insulation and plasterboard to vaulted ceiling, approx 15m x 4m.(40 boards) Insulation and plasterboard supplied and already on-site. Two x scaffold towers will be needed for this work which we do not have.

2.Fully plaster 4 bed 225m2 new build. Plasterboard is already on but all joints need taping and corners beading, screw holes filling and then skimming with 2 coats for quality finish. All materials to prep and skim to be supplied by tradesman although we could supply materials also if not VAT registered
