This is a 2-up, 2-down semi which has been replastered and now needs decorating. Budgets are tight and the plastering job is not great, so I need someone who can make good around architraves/window frames, where walls meet ceilings, and generally do as much as is feasibly possible to improve the final finish. Most of the house already has a mist coat (so that we could see how good/bad the plaster is).

- Apply Polyfiller Smoothover (as similar trade product) to 3 walls to cover over cracks and uneven surface.

- Fireplace (varnished). Sand back and then paint slik white. Fill gaps between wall and fireplace.

We are looking to repair and repaint the lounge, hallway and kitchen walls and ceiling in our flat. The lounge requires a new colour paint. There are some minor cracks and repairs that need to be done. The hall only needs a new paint colour to brighten it up as it is quite dark. The kitchen requires a new coat of paint for the visible walls. The ceiling of the kitchen has some water marks and cracked plaster due to a flood in the upstairs flat. This work needs to be quoted separately but it would all be done together.

Every room needs stripping of wallpaper (mostly woodchip wallpaper) and then the walls need preparing and painting. Woodwork such as skirting boards also need painting. Ceilings also need painting.

Primarily, I require the front and rear render areas of my semi-detached property to be painted. However, other issues need to be addressed first which mean an overlap in job categories. I understand examination of the following is necessary to determine any degree of water penetration to the brickwork and therefore identify and carry out appropriate remedial action.

- Cracks in the render on one side of the property
- Worn flashing between a wall and porch roof
- Concrete Guttering

Additionally, the guttering, as well as being painted, needs to be cleared and I would also consider renewal of the porch roof

Ideally, a single tradesman/company would deal with all of these issues, however, I appreciate that separate job postings under different categories may need to be prioritised. Any advice would be gratefully received.
