The room is a small spare bedroom, about 7 * 11 ft, height 7 ft 6, with a built in wooden cupboard. We have taken most of the ancient wallpaper off, but underneath is old paint, and plaster seriously cracked in places, especially around the window. It needs more time than we have, plus possibly replastering, and we need those cracks checked out.
