We have an upstairs flat in an Edwardian maisonette and are looking to get various rooms redecorated: the hallway, stairwells and front room in the first instance moving onto the kitchen and downstairs bedroom later. There are various jobs that need to be done, some of which I've listed below. The flat has an entrance hall, stairwell with very high ceiling leading up to first floor, landing and then further stairway leading up to the second floor. All of this needs decorating as well as the front room. The front room also needs floating shelves fitting and a new fire surround fitting. Ideally we would have someone do this at the same time but can get it done separately if necessary.

Kinds of jobs including:

Entrance hall:
- Replacing skirting boards which are water damaged
- Plastering/filling where wiring has been chased into walls
- Sanding down and repainting all woodwork (including wooden door leading down to cellar)
- Painting wals and ceiling
- Sanding down pipes with flaking paint / small areas of rust on radiator and repainting
- re-fitting coat hooks

Stairwell:
- Sanding and painting woodwork and walls
- Finishing up wall and window which has recently been replastered

Landing / Further Staircase

- Filling, painting and decorating
- Possibly fitting new banister to upper staircase
- Removing wood chip paper from ceiling above upper staircase and replastering / painting

Front Room
- Fitting new fire surround
- Fitting 10 x floating shelves on either side of fireplace

The cladding, plus all window sills are desperately in need of being painted/ treated to get them up to a better state of repair- we cannot afford replacements at this time.

I'd like a quote to paint my kitchen units please. They are a laminate wood, and I've already sanded them down and removed the doors. Depending on the cost I may also get some additional painting done in the flat at the same time. I'm planning on using eggshell for the finish.

I am having new windows put in in my top flat in Muswell Hill and will have scaffolding up - the person in the flat below me would like to take the opportunity to have his windows painted whilst this is up. It would go up on the 20th April for a few days - with the windows being replaced on the 22nd.
