Hello.

I have purchased a 100 year old house with original wooden windows (not sash). They all need some TLC. Over time some have been painted shut, some of the wood is a bit rotten and needs filling, some of the handles etc have come loose etc.

I am therefore looking for someone to refurb these, ie make sure they open properly, repair and fill and bits of rotten wood, re-fix fixings and paint.

I think this would ideally suit someone retired who wants a bit of work but nothing full time, who might want to do for example a room per month (ie not full time but spread the work over a number of months). That would also suit me as I could spread the payment over a longer period rather than having to find the money now!

It's a big house so this could be a medium term maintenance project as we have lots of windows.

Must be clean, tidy, trustworthy and want to do the job properly

Potential start date of May is flexible.

We would like someone to paint the side wall and half of the front of ou house. IIt is a typical example of a 1930s semi with bay windows.

The top half of the front needs painting, it is pebbledash, so the bottom half would need shielding in some way as it's brickwork. The side is fully pebble dashed, so would need painting in full, the back has a small amount to do, but mostly brickwork.
