Hi, we have an attic which was converted before we bought the house.
However, it wasn't done very well.
We'd now like to do our bedroom below it, but think that the floor / ceiling between the two needs sorting (it slopes clightly and probably wasn't strengthened when converted!).
So, not sure exactly what's involved, but we'd like someone to come and have a look and let us know what needs doing, how much and how long it will take.
We're willing to help in any way to reduce the cost (we have rennovated two houses, so do have some idea).

We have a converted attic in our house, which has not been done very well.
I'd like to alter the stairs to start slightly further back (to allow for thedoor on the left to move forward) and include a 90 degree turn at the top, and remove a chimney breast (at the top of the stairs) to allow more room.
Originally discussions on ideas would be a good place to start!
