Professional and creative landscape gardener required. Ideally we'd like to talk through the plans face to face but to give you an idea of the size of the job:
1) Hardcore/ rubble from former garage base to be removed or used for levelling.
2) Old rockery/ shrubbery at bottom of garden to be dug up and removed
3) Existing lawn to be taken up (approx 10ft x 40ft)
4) New larger lawn area to be turfed (approx 25ft x 50ft)
5) Two feather edge fences to be erected -(1 x 8ft, 1 x 9ft approx)
6) Garden to be made generally child friendly and two specific areas of concern (gaps at edge of fencing) to be remedied

We are looking for someone who is happy to work with us on the design of our garden and then carry out the work to realise it.

We have a small back garden which leads down to two terraces. Beyond the lower terrace is a wooded slope. Although all areas need work we don't necessarily want all this done as one ongoing job.

It is difficult to give precise details of what we want but these are our thoughts:

Back Garden (estimated area 25 sq m)
We need a new surface, probably gravel or flags. At present it is very patchy grass (the result of building work).

Some kind of 'natural' water feature.

General tidying up.

Terraces 1 and 2
Each terrace needs a new fence/railing approx 4m length. The lower one to have a gate in this giving access to the slope.

Each terrace has a bed with a stone retaining wall. Beds need tidying up.

Wooded slope (estimated area 130 sq m)

...you'd need to see it(!) but we're hoping to have a 'rustic' path zig-zagging down.

Just to clarify - it can be done as a job from start to finish, we thought it may be easier to do the work in stages. Basically whatever is most convenient.
