i have tried to do as much as i can but have come to a halt,i think the lawn area needs about two inches taken off the top and top soil added and levelled out, then new turf added,as i say i have done quite a bit the area is totally lawn free and i have compacted the groung with a wacker but this didnt achieve what i thought it would so now i have to ask for help,
the area is roughly 54ms and there are no access restriction at all.anytime in the next two days for a qoute would be great as im off till saturday.

We are looking for quotes for the removal of grass in 4 areas and installation of slate chips/gravel. This will include the removal of 2 medium sized shrubs and a small shrub. These area’s need to have weed control membrane installed and slate chips in 2 area’s and mixed coloured gravel in the other 2 areas. The quote must include all costs i.e. labour, material and disposal of the grass and shrubs.

The 4 areas are:
Area 1 – Containing 1 medium sized shrub – 16’ x 13.5’ - slate chips
Area 2 – Containing 1 medium sized shrub – 14’ x 14.5’ - slate chips
Area 3 – Containing no shrubs – 16’ x 11’- mixed coloured gravel
Area 4 – Containing 1 small sized shrub – 25’ x (10’ tapering to 1’ i.e. a triangle) - mixed coloured gravel

We would prefer the work to be complete before Christmas 2012 but are happy to receive open and honest advice.

I am looking to have some work done to my rear garden but would like more than 1 quote as there are a number of options I am looking at depending on price.

I have 2 grassed areas in the garden and would like a price for having one side changed to a stone area with plants and the other side re-turfed with a border added.

The other option I am looking at is having both sides re-turfed but with borders added down both sides.

The yard will be clear of all current stones and random slabs before you have to start. All material required will have to be collected by yourself. There are 2 drains to consider. We're looking for our garden to be redone. It is a reasonably small garden in a New Build in Kenton called Central Grange.

The garden currently has a weeded lawn and a small decked area. We want both of these removed and the following:

A new decking area, a small patio area (made up of a semi circle of paving and gravel)a woodchip border right around the garden, and new quality turf (not medow turf) laid. We also want a small shed made up on a suitable base.
At the front of the house we have a small strip of grass by the drive, we want this removed and replaced with gravel.

We have an absolutely maximum budget of £2000, which must include all materials (including decking, paving, gravel, woodchip, turf and shed) and labour. It must also include rubbish removal.

We want work to start within the next 2 weeks, ideally immediately.
