Take out kitchen cupboard in new home and fit slimline dishwasher in the housing available, fit with door closed to conceal in keeping with the kitchen. Bit fiddly but can be done easily by a trained person. No plumbing required already plumbed. But electrical supply will be needed.
I have had this job assessed by other carpenters/joiners kitchen professionals, so I am told it can be done.

Have lots of other carpentry work coming up for a good reliable trades-person.

The job is fitting a B&Q white gloss kitchen. It's comprised of 14 units (6 of them are wall hanging) plus some spacers and dividers for standalone washing machine/dish washer. Also electric oven, gas hob and hood. Laminate worktop needs to be professionally cut and installed, including sink and gas hob. Plumbing and gas to be connected (no pipe relocation required). The old kitchen has been removed. The room has been prepared for the work so no decoration or structural work necessary.

The kitchen room size is 6115x2370, and the kitchen when installed will occupy slightly less than a half of that. It will be a U shape arrangement.

Kitchen, worktops and appliances have been delivered and are all ready for the installation.

Work can start next week (14th onwards) and to be finished by the end of January.

Work to be done at ground floor of 4-bedroom semi-detached house. Today there is a open plan kitchen connected to living room. The plan is to move existing kitchen and toilet, to make room for a larger living room.

Shift already fitted kitchen (3.3m by 5.3m) south by 2 meters and as a result enlarging the west end of living room wider by 2 meters.

Shift toilet (1mx2m) south by 1 meter, and as a result enlarging the east end of living room wider by 1 meter.

Some non-load bearing walls need to knocked off.

Experienced kitchen fitter/carpenter required for 2 days work, preferably on the 19th/20th of March.

- I will be stripping out the existing units so the room should be bare (or 90% at least)
- The units will all be arriving pre-built so it's just a case of positioning and securing them to one another and the walls. There are cabinets down two sides of a galley kitchen, so approx 10-12 cabinets of varying sizes plus several wall cabinets.
- Wooden worktops need cutting down to size, plus securing and cut outs for sink and hob made. 1 2.3m straight run and a 2.7m L shaped run.
- Wooden upstands need cutting to length, plus mitreing
- Plinths and end panels all need to be cut to length and installed (4 end panels + 5 metres of plinth)
- Hanging the two wall cabinets
- Mounting the chimney extractor hood
- Installing door furniture (doors are pre-hung so just handles)
- Making good where required

(The plumber will be sorting the gas and water connections so no need to worry about those).

Please let me know availability and experience. Preference will obviously be given to those trades who are fairly local.

1) remove a cabinet as we need to fit a dishwasher in that space. its a normal 600mm width space

2) put up a wall cabinet. The cabinet has been supplied made up so no need to make it. It is very heavy so need to ensure it is put up safely and firm ! check the wall has no wires etc behind it. All being good put the wall cabinet up. There are fixtures supplied but please can you come prepared with alternative fixtures just in case you think it may not be strong enough.

3) the wall cabinet is being placed next to another cabinet making it look like a double cabinet. The cornice and pelmet of the current cabinet will have to be taken off and a new one cut to the correct dimensions and placed onto the double cabinet.i have this already supplied in a 3 metre long.
