Supply and fit of 300mm of insulation around a partially boarded loft of a 3 bed semi-detached 1930's house.

I have recently had a new roof and the loft space is currently boarded in the middle but in order to comply with building regulations, I need to have 300mm of insulation round the outside of the boarded space.

The work needs to be completed asap.

The approx. dimensions of the unboarded edge sections are:
110x290 cm
120x290 cm
160x660 cm

The current insulation looks to be in a poor state so will probably need to be pulled up and removed to be replaced completely with new. The most important thing is that building regs will sign it of therefore I think the total depth of insulation needs to be 300mm

If it matters, the joists are running in the direction of the longest dimension.

Single storey hallway/cloakroom area. Approx 7'x10'. Loft access by hatch, no height to stand in available space.

Remove old insulation from loft approx 20x25 foot. Loft hatch 21x23inches. Insulation consists of 4 inch fibreglass matting with 8 inches of loose wool insulation on top. Small area boarded over 3x3 foot - should be able reach under - rest easily accessed. This work needs to be done as soon as possible.

We have loose loft insulation that seems to be made of treated shredded paper - this is around the edges of the loft area (central area is boarded). I am concerned this may be a fire hazard. I would like this removed and taken away safely and cleanly and new modern loft insulation installed. The roof area is not massive. Access to the loft is via a loft ladder. I would like the work done as soon as possible.
