- Hired: Apollo Property Solutions
- Trade: Handyman
- Positive feedback on 7th May 13
Job Description
I require my shower to be re-sealed, it is 3 years old and there is a small gap in the current sealant.
My gutter has a couple of breaks (don't believe it is the guttering, just has come away) this needs to be put back together or replaced.
I attempted to lay some patio in my garden, however, the job is half completed and requires completing.
Tradesman must have own tools and ladder and be fully insured.
Quotes required and views of an evening / weekend by appointment only.
I would estime a full days work to complete all three, however the shower and gutter are of the most importance.

- Location: Colchester
- Hired: MBS Property Maintenance
- Trade: Handyman
- Positive feedback on 9th Nov 12
Job Description
Hello, we are looking to find a handyman to help us with lots of jobs that are needed on our new house we are moving in to on Friday 16th December.
I liked the look of your profile and the feedback you have received and you sound ideal for us.
To help give you an idea on the type of work that needs doing (that we know of already):
• Need a bespoke cupboard built in the hallway and under stairs area requires a bespoke door and shelves fitted inside
• 3 internal doors need to be changed to glazed internal doors
• Boiler needs to be housed into a bespoke tall cupboard in utility area with doors and shelves
• Airing cupboard requires shelf
• En-suite door has been put on wrong way round (currently opens into shower cubicle) it needs to be hung on other side of frame so that it opens into wall instead
• Fit lino flooring in kitchen
Future work:
• New bathroom suite installed and tiling
• New en-suite suite and tiling
• Fit new kitchen
• Fit laminate flooring downstairs
Are you able to pop round to provide your estimates some time in the week before Christmas? And once we have met and have an idea on your price (and if your price is right) we can get you booked in to start on the smaller jobs first in the New Year.
Let me know your thoughts and if you think you are able to help.
I look forward to hearing from you soon :o)
Kind regards, Natalie & Chrissy
* Added 10th January, 2012 :
Since moving in before Christmas, a lot of our requirements have changed and some of these jobs can't be touched until the end of the year (such as the new kitchen, new bathroom etc). But we do still require an under stairs cupboard, shelves added to the airing cupboard and built in wardrobe, tiling in the downstairs toilet, fix a leaking toilet, fix wobbly taps and other smaller jobs around the house.

- Location: Colchester
- Hired: Home & Garden
- Trade: Handyman
- Positive feedback on 21st Oct 12
Job Description
We have just bought a house and the previous owners had blocked the doorway from the hall into the kitchen. We would like this knocked back into a doorway. After stripping the wallpaper you can see the old door outline with new plaster. The wall does not sound hollow so we think it may be bricked up rather than plasterboard.
