Up in the loft space there is a flexible tubing/pipework which I believe takes of care of air flow. It runs from the outside wall up into the roof. It is flexbible (like the hose on a tumble dryer). I really don't know what is purpose is - but it is leaking water when it rains.

I have a load of willow logs that need chopping up (or cutting up with a chain saw) so they start to dry out. There is not many logs, probably a couple of hours work with a chain saw.
