Curtain pole fitting

  • Location: Cambridge
  • Hired: jobs done
  • Trade: Handyman
Job Description

I need to put some curtain poles up. Around 3.6m (from B&Q, I will supply the pole kit). This is to go above a fairly large window and I don't know what sort of reinforcement is behind the plaster. It's likely to be fairly tough.

At the same time I'd also like to make a hole left in the wall for a vent a bit smaller. It's about 40cm wide and just requires a bit of plaster or something so that a regular-sized vent can fit over it.
