I need to lay a concrete base for my kitchen floor. The kitchen has been prepped with all plumbing and electrical work complete to allow this. Kitchen is roughly 4.5x3.5m and at the deepest point the depth of the kitchen is 1 foot. I need it to be level with a waterproof membrane and insulation under the concrete.

I have a triangle of land (sides about 10m or so) which needs a JCB + driver to smash and move the concrete/tarmac onto a neighbouring area and then move and spread some soil.

Following a small flood after heavy rain, we need to improve the drainage at the front of the house. It is likely that this will be a relatively small job involving: Digging a gully around the corner of the house and then installing a pipe leading to the drain. There may be some small brickwork involved around the drain area.

We need to fill in a frame so that we have a 6 inch deep foundation for a garden room. Frame is made and we have some hard core in it already. Access to garden is restricted so we may need either cement pumped up to garden or cement made at site.

A new soil pipe to be added to the existing drain chamber. No excavating is required as the side of the chamber where the entry point will be is exposed.

Just the brown pipe to floor level is required where my plumber will then connect the new soil stack. The job itself will be to install a new soil pipe entering into the existing chamber - make good the chamber and secure the external pipe adequately.

Dig out rockery. Permission can be obtained to remove rear fence to allow digger acces via car park. Erect retaining wall approx 4m long and 2m high. Lay concrete slab approx 3.8m by 2.5m (tbc). This is a base for a summer house.

Remove existing quarry tiles to front entrance step together with concrete sub-base. Lay new sharp sand and cement base, minimum of 50mm thick. Supply and fit new quarry tiles over base using necessary adhesive and grout joints. The new quarry tiles to be 12mm thick and 200mm x 200mm. Radius edge tiles are to be used along the leading edge of the step. Remove all rubbish from site on completion.
