I have just brought a new dual fuel cooker and need to get it installed, but currently don't have the correct sockets behind the cooker. I thought it would only be a small job, but have been told by an electrician this evening that its a much bigger job than I first anticipated, and would really like another opinion, and to find a recommended electrician to carry out the work. Any quotes from electricians in the Birmingham area would be greatly appreciate - I'd like to get the work done as soon as possible.

I need a gas hob connecting to the gas supply, There is a supply pipe next to the hob where a free standing cooker was previously connected using a rubber flexi pipe, I was going to attach the hob using this but the manual says it must be connected with rigid pipe (copper or stainless steel).
