Hi

I'm have a combi boiler (Vokèra approx 6 years old) that has started giving off fumes and since getting it checked has been declared unsafe. I last had it checked & serviced about 18 months ago.

Also, when the safety check was made they said the hob was also giving off fumes (I guess leaking) so this will need looking at too.

I'm the owner of the property and can give you access whenever you need it.

Job is in Tooting, London SW17 and needs to be done 7-8th June or anytime next week by prior arrangement.

There is just one Gas appliance - Gas hob to be included in the CP12. Respondents must be a registered Gas Safe engineer.

Hi there, a bit of a strange request probably but here goes. I am selling a flat in Collierswood (near Tooting) and buying the house that we currently rent in Walton on Thames. I'd like to swap the cookers over. This would mean you coming to the house in Walton, disconnecting the cooker then coming to Colliers wood, disconnecting the cooker there and installing the cooker from Walton and then coming back to Walton to connect the cooker from Collierswood. Would you be prepared to do that? If so what would you charge (journey time of 45mins approx. each way). Job would need to be done in the next 2 weeks.

We are in the process of buying a flat (1st and 2nd floor flat, probably built in 1920s) and were advised by the surveyor that the boiler (Potterton Profile wall mounted) and the rest of central heating system need to be inspected, to establish whether it is still in working order. Oven is a Leisure 100cm Range Cooker.

I require a gas safety certificate for one of my properties aswell as a boiler and gas fire service. Nothing needs to be done with the oven.
Normally i get British Gas to do this but thought i'd give Mybuilder a go for a more competive quote.
Note : There are no faults with any of the appliances.

Hi, I've got an electric hob which is malfunctioning, I'd like to replace it with a gas hob.
My boiler is on gas, stored in a cupboard about 3 meters away from the hob.

The hob is placed on top of the oven (electric as well)
I'm not looking at replacing the oven for now.

Between the boiler and hob there's the cupboard wall, a sink, washing machine and then the oven & hob on top.

I'll probably have to find the hob myself but I'd like to know if it's feasible and what kind of time & cost it would take including all materials.
