The hot water function of the boiler will not come on when the hot tap is turned on in our master bathroom. It does come on when the hot water is turned on in the other taps around the house. Yesterday the shower tap started playing up as well, but it's now fine.

The central heating works fine.

This has happened a couple of months ago. I noticed that the pressure was under 2 bar and I manually raised it, by using the tap under the boiler to a bit over 2. That fixed the problem for a while, but it returned now. When I raised the pressure over 2 bar this time it worked for a little while, but it fell back down to 1.7-1.8 within half a day.
