Our combi boiler is 18 months old and is currently in our kitchen (in the way) and our flu is on the outside wall in the way of where we want a conservatory. The boiler used to be in the loft before we bought the house so it should not be a problem.

The old boiler used to be in the third bedroom actually. We would like the flu to be moved out of the way possibly instead of the whole boiler being moved. We would like the work done asap.

British Gas carried out annual inspection of central heating system and boiler and told us there was a gas leak in the house and closed it down at meter and capped the pipe. Have since had a Gas Safe plumber round who has said that he is unable to find the leak and proposes that all the pipe work be replaced, and possibly the back boiler changed for a combi boiler in the utility room, which would mean a major rebuild job. Really need a second opinion if all this work in neccessary and if it is, the best way of doing this and the costs involved
