We require a single garage to be converted into living space.

- To be compliant with current Building Regulations/Planning Permission.

- Supply and install new chipboard floor with 90mm insulation between joists and 1200 gauge damp proof membrane over existing concrete floor in garage.

- Remove existing rear door and frame from garage. Remove existing lintel.

- Install new lintel at correct height for new floor. Install brick courses at base to allow for new floor. Re-install existing door into new opening.

- Dismantle “up and over” garage door and remove from site.

- Brick up doorway, using bricks to match as close as possible to existing.

- Supply and install new rosewood PVCu window, white finish inside, approx 2160 x 1150mm.

- Dry line all cavity walls within garage and plaster to smooth finish.

- Stud out all single skin walls and insulate, plaster to smooth finish.

- Render all single skin party walls and stud out, insulate and plaster to smooth finish.

- Board ceiling and plaster to smooth finish, leaving access hatch to loft, laying
insulation within loft as required.

- Install single low energy ceiling light (supplied by us), to operate off of single switch by doorway from kitchen.

- Install 3 off double sockets (supplied by us)

- Install only new radiator (supplied by us). Running supplies from airing cupboard on landing, under floor and into garage via loft.

- Supply and install skirting and architrave as required.

I need a door in the side of the garage for access.

It's a single skin, load bearing wall so it needs knocking through, a lintel, a door frame and a door hanging.

It would be helpful if you could collect the door from B&Q as my car isn't big enough and they can't deliver.

I'll also need you to dispose of the rubbish

Firstly for easy access, lop off several small overhanging tree branches. Remove 5 x wooden battens and strip off old felt. Replace with new quality felt and seal at edges with mastic-type felt sealant between layers. Secure with clouts - no wooden battens to be replaced. Remove all rubbish and leave in tidy condition. All tradesmen must be fully insured.

I have a new roof for my shed from the company that sold me it last year. It needs replacing as it is letting some water in. I therefore need someone to put the new roof up. It is already pre-felted so the actual job is pretty straight-forward but I am unable to do this due to a shoulder injury.

We need a storage shed bespoke made to fit down the side of our house, must have weatherproof material with felt roof, roof to be slanting and guttering needed to drain off any water, with one door that can be securely locked and padlocked. Unfortunately our preferred handyman is too booked up to do this job and we require this doing quite urgently.
