I have a metal shed that has been constructed on a concrete floor, but has not been secured onto the floor as I have a steel foundation kit that needs to be filled with more concrete and cement in order to have a solid floor inside the shed.

I would also like to have paving slabs to be placed around the shed and possibly along the edge of the garden in order to get access to the shed at the back of the garden from the house.

The spring loaded mechanism running along the side and top of the gargage door on the inside appears to have snapped meaning there is no mechanical assistance when opening the garage door. Therefore it feels as though the door is almost a dead weight when trying to lift it open from the outside, and almost impossible therefore to keep open when trying to get a car in or out.

Just bought a house, moving in early next month. There's an old concrete garage built in the late 1960s that's only accessible via a retractable door to the front and i want to be able to access garage from the garden/rear of the garage

I can't provide more information on whether the garage is solid concrete or not but here's an image of it - its the one to the left. this is the front of the garage.

What i want are rough quotes on labour and hire of equipment for the following jobs

- cutting a standard doorframe in rear of shed
- installing a doorframe and door
- ballpark idea of how long it would take from start to finish

I will take care of disposing of concrete/cleaning up. And I'll also source the doorframe/door.

Depending on what kind of quotes i get backl, I'd invite one or two people round to take a look to finalise the quote. Ideally am looking for work to start on the 9th July.
