We would like a quote for fitting Karndean Knight tile flooring in a kitchen. The room is roughly 18 square metres and currently has been stripped back to bare floorboards. We will supply the Karndean but will require a quote for fitting and any other materials needed (e.g. plywood etc)

We will ideally need this work to take place within the next couple of weeks, the kitchen will have already been fitted except for appliances.

We want to do few things to the floors in our house:
1) get rid of the carpet in all rooms, except 2 bedroom: 38.42 square meters + stairs (28 steps)
2) install laminate in the living room + 2 landings + entrance: 38.42 square meters
3) expose wood stairs (28 steps + 4 intermediate landings)
4) lay vinyl in a small kitchen attached to living room

We have already bought the materials:
- Laminate from Wickes (38.42 square meters + 10%)
- Underlay Boards
- Scotia (51 meters)
- 5 T-Bars for the transitions
- Pipe surrounds

The starting date for the job is indicative: we can discuss if it needs a bit of extra time to start. We will have to free space in the living room to get started.

Extra info about "3) expose wood stairs".
The stairs in our place are covered with carpet: we want to remove that and expose the original wood they are made of.
That will also require sanding and varnishing the stairs.
This is only for the actual steps: the handrails are painted and should stay as they are.

We would like to get rid of carpets, sand and varnish the nice floorboards which are underneath, for the following rooms of a typical 3br victorian house:
- corridor (ground floor)
- reception 1 (4.3 x 3.8m)
- reception 2 (3.4 x 3.2 m)
- corridor (first floor)
- br1 (4.9 x 4.3 m)
- br2 (4.8 x 3.2 m)

We would get rid of the carpets ourselves. The job would then be:
- sanding
- draft proofing / repair if need be
- varnish

Visits on tuesday oct 23rd and wednesday oct 24th, from 9 to 5pm, in order to establish quotes.

Have some very tatty and scratched laminate currently laid on the ground floor of my house – hallway, living room and kitchen. Looking to get it taken up and replaced with an engineered wooden floor.

It's approximately 28 square metres.

We have a Victorian terrace with original floorboards. This job involves lifting some of these in the dining room to replace a couple of rotten joists, and then relaying.

Some of the floorboards are broken so we will need to replace these. We are currently sourceing them, but would like a quote for laying these as well.

Finally the hall floor is springy - we don't know if this is down to rotten joists or just a badly laid floor. We would like a quote to cover checking and making good this also.

We would like to get quotes in the next couple of weeks, to start work towards the end of the summer.
