I need a laminate floor laying down- I have the underlay and laminate so I have most of the materials (I guess you'll tell me what else I 'll need or whether or not you can get it). The size of the room is 28 square metres approx (3.5mx8m or 26' x 11'). Can you give me an idea of the likely charge for your labour and time required (I'm guessing a day) to complete such a task - there is very little furniture in the room at the moment-so the sooner the better. If you are available soon, Friday 16th April/Saturday 17th April are good- failing that, I can wait.

House Built 1907.

Old Floorboards Have been removed to reveal floor joists.
the room is not square and joists are not level ( but by mm )
flooring continues under plaster board wall but only 1 room ( up to partition wall ) needs floor laying.

using 2 x 8 caberfloor T&G flooring.
had a go ourselves but have dicided to get a pro in before we mess up!

room is: 15 by 8ft max ( apprx messurements ) { L shape room }.

we are getting to the end of our budget but if the price is right and the work is to a good standard there will be a future job for the builder
which will include:

hanging new door frame & door.
fitting new skirting boards
basic decorating.

please quote for initial job only first and then as mentioned follow on job may be required.

so its mainly a labour only quote im looking for.
