We would like a quote for fitting Karndean Knight tile flooring in a kitchen. The room is roughly 18 square metres and currently has been stripped back to bare floorboards. We will supply the Karndean but will require a quote for fitting and any other materials needed (e.g. plywood etc)

We will ideally need this work to take place within the next couple of weeks, the kitchen will have already been fitted except for appliances.

We would get rid of the carpets ourselves. The job would then be:

We have just pulled up old flooring in our hall way which is roughly 8msq revealing original boards. There is a small part of the hall where we would require reclaimed pine floorboards (140-170mm) and some repair work. There are also some gaps between the boards that require filling with resin. Sanding and finish is then required.

It is possible we may ask for a quote for the lounge area also (budget dependent). The boards are the same but already restored some time ago so likely just need a light resand and finish. We have already received quotes for the hallway of around £800 inc. VAT.

We are only interested in receiving quotes from small/one man businesses who are very experienced in this area and may be able to offer lower costs due to lower overheads, no need to hire sander, can purchase reclaimed at low cost etc. but still at high quality.

I am ready to purchase the flooring (7 days delivery lead time) but want someone to come and see exactly what else I will need. (I will need beading but unsure on the amount I will need).
