I have recently had a quote from a carpenter to fit and supply laminate flooring for my living room/dining room.

The original quote was for £490.00 (£130.00 labour then the rest for the flooring/skirts & underlay) Since then he has messed me around on materials, so we have cancelled.

We are now desperate to get the floor down, as we have a new sofa coming in the next week or two! I have decided to source my own laminate and just want someone to lay it for me. Or if you have samples we would be willing to look at them, but I don't want to pay anymore than £12.00 per meter. I have seen good quality laminate for around this price and cheaper!

Living room measurements are:

6.6m (21'8) x 3.18 (10'5) > 9

The floor is made of what looks like solid pine blocks glued together on top of a concrete floor.
