Garden fence repair
- Location: Walthamstow
- Hired: HandyAlex
- Trade: Fencing
- Positive feedback on 16th May 13
Job Description
I have a concrete garden fence with wooden slats garden but some of the slats have fallen down, partly thanks to foxes and large cats taking short cuts. I did used to nail them back up myself but the wood into which the nails go has rotted and they don't stay up for very long. They could do with some more competent maintenance. I'll attach photos which make it a lot clearer what's needed than I can by verbal description.

Fence repair
- Location: Worcester Park
- Hired: S.S.B. Builders
- Trade: Fencing
- Positive feedback on 20th Apr 13
Job Description
In the recent strong winds during winter, three of my wooden fence panels have fallen down, one of which is attached to the gate to my back garden as well.
The fence panels themselves still appear to be in good condition, as is the gate door, however, it appears that three of the wooden posts have got wet and broken off at ground level. I would suggest that it requires three new wooden posts, possibly fixed into a concrete base, as opposed to soil as it is at the moment and which has caused the issue this time around.

Job Description
Two panels and one post have been blown over by the wind recently in our back garden. We would like the fence put back, it doesn't look broken but if it is then maybe would need replacing.
* Added 16th March, 2013 :
Look like standard size fence panels. Panels look broken so probably will need replacing with as close match as possible.
Would like quote to include supplying and installing new fences and removing existing broken fences.
Quote to include labour / materials / VAT and anything else.
Thanks.
