Garden fence repair
- Location: Walthamstow
- Hired: HandyAlex
- Trade: Fencing
- Positive feedback on 16th May 13
Job Description
I have a concrete garden fence with wooden slats garden but some of the slats have fallen down, partly thanks to foxes and large cats taking short cuts. I did used to nail them back up myself but the wood into which the nails go has rotted and they don't stay up for very long. They could do with some more competent maintenance. I'll attach photos which make it a lot clearer what's needed than I can by verbal description.

- Location: Woodford
- Hired: stac

- Positive feedback on 30th Apr 13
Job Description
My garden is 42 ft long. I would like 3 - 6ft x 6ft panels at the top end of the garden - between my patio and next door - plus 4- 6ft x 4 ft panels at the bottom end of the garden. We need fence posts and gravel boards. We would also like the old fence removed and taken away if possible. We have a side way.
We could order fence panels locally, or if you can get them - all the better. Not too fussy, but maybe the larch lap fences or domed fence with trellis on top. Thank you

Two panels and one post have been blown over by the wind recently in our back garden. We would like the fence put back, it doesn't look broken but if it is then maybe would need replacing.

Look like standard size fence panels. Panels look broken so probably will need replacing with as close match as possible.
Would like quote to include supplying and installing new fences and removing existing broken fences.
Quote to include labour / materials / VAT and anything else.
Thanks.

Replace fence
- Location: Belvedere
- Hired: BJM-FENCING AND LANDSCAPE DESIGN
- Trade: Fencing
- Positive feedback on 5th Mar 13
Job Description
I need my fence replaced. The right hand and rear sides have concrete pillars which I'd like to keep if possible, although they are all different distances apart so not sure if that would be possible. The neighbours side has a wooden pillar which will have to be replaced with concrete. It needs to be sturdy as we get high winds. I can send pictures if you need to see more details. Would like to get some quotes so I can see how much I will have to spend as budget is tight. Total length is approx 22 metres, height about 5 feet, would be happy to put it up to 6 feet though. Fence is wooden planks mounted on arris rails, existing concrete posts are in good order, just varying distances apart. I would require removal of existing wooden bits of the fence. Quote should include labour and materials. I'm the owner of the property.
