Fencing jobs in Southend On Sea, Essex

Repair Fencing

  • Location: Benfleet
  • Hired: Habitech Property Maintenance
  • Trade: Fencing
Job Description

We live on a hall with a sloped garden. and the weight of our neighbours garden has caused two of our concrete posts to be pushed out of line. This has caused the gap between the posts to widen and consequently the concrete gravel board has fallen out - no doubt the wood fence panel will also fall out soon. I assume the best way to rectify this is to remove the two current posts and replace them with sufficient concrete footings to prevent future movement and am looking for a quote to get this done.

Replace fence posts and approx 10ft of fencing

  • Location: Rayleigh
  • Hired: MP Fencing
  • Trade: Fencing
Job Description

At the end of my garden two wooden fence posts presumably have rotted. They supported a gate and about 10ft of closeboard fencing. Existing fencing seems undamaged so may or may not need to be replaced. Oddly the fence itself seems to rest on bricks between the fence posts. Think the wooden posts may need to be replaced with more wooden posts rather than concrete but open to advice. Have tied fence posts up for the time being to stop them falling down completely but would like the fence sorted fairly quickly if possible.

Supply and replace 8 fence panels

  • Location: Rayleigh
  • Hired: Habitech Property Maintenance
  • Trade: Fencing
Job Description

I have a fence that consists of concrete posts and gravel boards, and 8 timber fence panels of 5ft high and 6ft wide. The panels are over 10 years old and quite rotten, so I would like them replaced with new ones. I would like the new ones to be 'pressure treated' with a minimum of 10 year guarantee against rot. Nothing fancy required with regards to the style of the panels.

I would also like the old fence panels removed as part of the job, so please quote to supply the new panels, swap them over with the old panels, and to take the old panels away.

Thankyou!

* Added 6th May, 2010 :
Each individual panel is 5ft x 6ft.
