A recent weekend of high winds resulted in the fence and gate at the rear of my property collapsing. The fence, posts and gate that collapsed have now been removed and disposed of. The job also involves removal (to include disposal) and replacement of the remaining fence panels and posts (a run of approximately 9.5 metres).

I would like to replace the fence posts, panels and gate (including the gate furniture) with best quality pressure treated featheredge fencing panel, wood posts (not concrete as the property is in a conservation area) and a quality featheredge gate.

Approximate dimensions are as follows:

Rear: 8m (1.83mx1.83m panels assumed)
Side (right): 9.5m (1.83mx1.83m panels assumed)
Side (left): 5m (1.83m x 0.9m panels assumed). Note: these panels will be fixed to a wall

All panels, posts and fittings are to be supplied by the contractor.

The featheredge gate (1.8m x 0.9m assumed) will be installed in the rear fence. I have purchased a marine grade combination latch/lock that will require installation.

The gate and fittings other than the latch/lock are to be supplied by the contractor.

The site can be accessed directly from the rear of the property by way of a tarmac lane.

I have one fence panel at the bottom of my garden, which my dogs have managed to make a whole in and are able to get out, so I need a new one put up, not a standard size, as this one is not so wide, it then needs chicken wire secured to the front of it so the dogs can't bite their way through. I do also have several other jobs need doing around the garden, ie hedges trimmed down, block paving needed, but not right at this moment, so you could say this is a trial run to see if I am please with this first urgent job for my dogs safety.

The original wooden posts are not concreted into the ground, however, I would like the new fence post to be. I do not require gravel boards and am looking to use treated overlaping fence panels. I have an existing fence in poor condition and would like to replace it with a wall and fence combination in order to create more stability and privacy (at present the fencing is attached to posts driven directly into the ground).

The garden is approx 40 feet in length, and the solution would be for one side only. I'd like the wall to be approx 3 feet and the fencing 6 feet (9 feet in total). A seperate quote for removal of the old fence would be helpful, though we may manage that ourselves.
