An alleyway separates our backdoor from an old garage. We would like to knock down the garage and extend the house over the land at single floor height. The new rooms would comprise a Utility room and large workshop. Floor plan area is about 5.5m x 5.6m.
We have some ideas but have no plans drawn up. We would like to find someone who can give us assistance in practicalities of what can be done, cost trade-offs and then carry out the work etc.
Skills needs will be groundworks, bricklaying, roofing (incl a velux window probably), protecting existing drain (liaison with water co), carpentry, plumbing, electrician.
