Removal of two non-load bearing walls

- Trade: Extensions
- Positive feedback on 2nd May 13
Job Description
Hi,
I am looking to open up the top floor of my flat by removing one bedroom wall and one kitchen wall - both of which border the sitting room. I have had a structural engineer conduct a report that proves both are non load bearing. The two walls are c.3.5m and c.2m long and of normal hight (is top floor within a mansard roof) and made of plaster and wood.
The job would be to remove all dividing partitions doors/frames, clear site from all rubbish, piece in plaster board to ceiling and wall where existing partition where, make good and skim.
It is worth noting that the walls do currently have light switches, power points and a phone socket attached to them which will need moving. I am looking to have 9 recess halogen lights installed in the ceiling (sadly there is no access to the loft) so if you would like to quote for the electrical work as well then please do otherwise I will source this separately.

Job Description
Our house had an extension on the back before we moved in. They unfortunately left the old corner of the house and subsequently, we have a large pillar left in the middle of the kitchen. I have had drawings and calculations done and steels will be required. It is best if you come round to see the work required.
We would also like the back wall knocked out and bi-folding doors added and depending on the price quoted, possibly some extra work done on the driveway and two new fireplaces installed.
Would like a quote for Labour and materials.

Job Description
We have bought a deceased estate, a midterraced house, 1980s, 3 bedroom. The survey is being carried out and I'm awaiting the report, but it needs full refurbishment. Inside, we anticipate it needs rewiring, total redecoration, new kitchen/bathroo, rebuild internal stairs which are badly designed so they cut into an upstair bedroom. We also want to extend to the rear garden as is permitted without planning permission. It's quite a large job, so you'd need to come and quote. The house is in Forest Hill SE23 3XQ.
