Job Description

4.5m x 4.3m 2 storey extension to include foundations, exterior blockwork, first floor joists, rain water soakaway and roof. We are looking to start as soon as possible and have approved plans to work from.

We need quotes fast.
We wish to make a double storey extension with one utility room and wc downstairs. Glazed lower storey (relative to cost).

Upper storey to have two bedrooms and one with ensuite.

List of the services offered and costs of each.

With approximate length of time the build would take and availability.

* The following information was added Thursday, 9th April, 2009 :
The ground floor is on the right in the attached photo. We are hoping for as much glazing as possible on the ground floor. Doors to open really wide along the 7.3m length and large floor to ceiling glazing along the sides.

Upstairs we would like to incorporate really large windows as well.

After chatting with the current owner it is most likely that the current extension foundations would be insufficient for a two story extension so either it will need to be redone or something will be required to transfer the weight to foundations that are able to take the weight. If any chose to offer further detail to their considerations it would be best to suggest how you would deal with the existing extension.

This job has been completed to a very high standard by Richard Groom. It finally ended up having a smaller upstairs and larger downstairs. Richard managed the project excellently and gave us a very good quality build at a very acceptable budget. At first one wondered if he could build on the available budget but He did and did it well.
