We are looking for builders to quote who are able to start before April 2010 on a job to extend along the side of a semi-detached Victorian house.

Please see drawing attached of existing ground and 1st floor along with proposed layout detailing the existing walls to be removed and the doorways to be blocked up (3 in total).

The infilled side return will increase the area by around 15m2. It will have a flat roof and a rear opening of 4m x 2.1m and we will supply and fit the sliding doors.

Upstairs one internal wall will be removed to enlarge two bedrooms.

Please allow for 9 additional power sockets, 1 light switch, 1 waste pipe, 2 hot and 2 cold water feeds.

We are looking to get working/final drawings created of a proposed single storey extension so that builders can accurately quote for work.

The building is a semi-detatched Victorian house. We will also require load calculations as the proposed extension will result in at least 2 lintels or arond 5m.

Rates for work or cost would be much appreciated and please can you state if you belong to a surveying professional body.
