(I have a problem with my electrics. I live in a through terraced house and the sockets on the second floor, a double socket in one bedroom and a double socket in another room have stopped working. Also the light in the front room doesn't work.

The landing light switch at the bottom of the stairs is loose/broken and the light with this switch (on the ceiling at the top of the stairs) has fused and is black. As this is the case we have made the decision not to touch it. We would appreciate someone who can take a look at it and fix as needed.
