As the title suggests, I need an electrical safety certificate for a 2 bedroom flat that is soon to be rented. The flat was constructed around 4 years old and so the wiring should be in sound condition. There is only one freestanding appliance (washing machine).

The work would need to be done, ideally in the morning, on the 22nd May as this is the only day we will be at the property.

We built a small (10m2) mezzanine level in our flat. An electrician installed some new lights (extension to existing lighting circuit) and installed three sockets (by splitting and continuing existing ring main). The Council asks for a certificate by Part P-qualified electrician (e.g. NIC EIC), which needs to be entered into the official registration system.
Our flat is at E14 8ED.
