I have 2 wall lights to put up. I started myself but the wiring is too short for one and would need extending. I also gather that there are greater safety requirements now for electrical work and so my other light will no doubt need checking too.

I also have a standard pendant light hanging rather close to my shower which very clearly needs to be converted to something safe!

We've just moved into a new development (Completed Nov 2012) and the house has an integral garage. I'm shortly having an electrical garage door fitted, but there is no electric supply into the garage at the moment.

The consumer unit for the house has 2 spare positions, both with RCD protection and sits on the wall adjacent to the garage. In my (entirely unprofessional) opinion, it would be a simple case of drilling a hole behind the consumer unit (carefully avoiding the wiring obviously) straight into the garage and run the wiring that way. Alternative options are available as the electricity meter is fixed inside the garage, and on the wall in the entrance hall (also adjacent to the garage) is a double socket present, but the 1st method seems the most logical and tidy solution.

I need someone who can add two MCB's (one for sockets, one for lighting) and install a minimum of 1 double socket and 1 light point. I'm happy to supply all or some of the materials, or for you to supply.

Require tradesmen to complete a rewire of a 2 bedroom bungalow which we are in the process of purchasing (should be in first week in Jan so therefore tradesmen should be available in Jan for work). Property will be having a complete overhaul (see my other jobs!) and therefore property will be empty of belongings. Property has floorboards (ease of access), and loft is clear and accessible as well.

We already have plans ready of where we require sockets etc and my partner said he is more than happy to channel walls ready for cable laying?!!?

Advice also needed as to the fuse box type (current one should be condemned I think!). We have access to enter property as keys are with Estate Agent so we can arrange for you to pop over to quote if need be but some indication of what sort of price I am looking at would be advantageous as I am doing this all on a budget!!!!

Age of property is approx 1963 and appears to have been stuck in a time warp since then so there will be other work being done in unison to this job.
