I have small spotlights inset into the timber ceiling of my bathroom and kitchen. Ceiling is not high - the house is a small stone cottage. Two of the spots seem to have problems with the fittings. New bulbs flicker on and off then blow. I need to get these two fittings replaced. Also need my gas boiler earthing. Can pay cash.

Spotlights are approximately 9.5cm in diametre and use small screw fitting spotlight bulbs.

The gas boiler is a fairly new one but on my last service I was told by the gas srvice engineer that the gas installation pipe was not earth bonded and that this is now required by gas safety regulations, and must be done by a qualified electrician.
