There are also 2 sockets at floor level, not sure if these would necesarily need to be removed or could just be left.

I would need 3 x new worktop height double sockets, and also a resite of fuse and socket box for the cooker switch

Hi, I've currently got the standard ceiling rose with pendant set up in the dining room, but have recently bought a new light fitting I would it changed to. I was going to change it over myself but the new fitting only has connections for a live and neutral wire but the old ceiling rose also seems to have an earth wire attached which has left me stuck.

I am installing a new kitchen, but before I do I want additional sockets adding close to a cooker socket and an existing plug moving away from the cooker itself (presently right above the cooker) and closer to the cooker socket which is to the right of the cooke. Also it would be great for the cooker to be wired to the cooker socket as presently it is just plugged into the wall. Present set up on the wall in question is one light switch on the left, one double wall socket (above the cooker) almost in the center and a cooker socket to the right.

One ceiling light fitting appears to have a loose wire, with the light not always coming on. The other light works fine, which makes me think it is the light fitting that is loose and needs looking at and fixing. Light doesn't always come on.
